Hopi Ear Candling is a relaxing holistic and therapeutic treatment. Here at Ashbrooke Therapies we have advanced our treatment by incorporating essential oils with acupressure and drainage massage on the face; this approach stimulates the bodies own excretory system by promoting flow through the ears, nose and throat cavities. The ears, nose and throat have a shared anatomy and have similar mucous membrane linings, which means they get similar infections or problems, thus one part of the cavities quite commonly affect the others. Our treatment technique is based on this knowledge, ensuring a more holistic approach and better results.

How Hopi Ear Candles Works

The candles are made from the natural ingredients of beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St Johns Wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax. A constant high quality is ensured. The ear candles work on a chimney effect, drawing any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed. They balance the pressure in the head and ears, making them suitable for most conditions.

Secretion flow is soothing and the vapour collects and removes impurities or deposits. The majority of these are passed away through the candle, although some of them can be found in the condensed candle wax residue after removal from the ear. These impurities could also work their way out up to 24-48 hours after treatment.
