Joanne Yannetta - BSc Physiotherapy
Clinic Manager, Physiotherapist and Skin & Laser Specialist
I have been working in the Therapeutic industry for almost 28 years. I started my career journey after completing the HND certificate in Business Management in the Beauty Industry in 1994 and have worked in well-renowned Health Spas in the UK and abroad. During this time, I was fortunate to train with some of the most renowned companies in the industry and trained with Eve Taylor herself – a product and treatment range that I have adopted for its Organic and animal cruelty free ethos. I continued to broaden my professional knowledge, travelling to Thailand to study the art of Thai massage at the Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai. Since 2015 I have completed a level 4 qualification in Laser Skin treatment – Hair removal, skin rejuvenation and thread vein treatment as well as training in Dermaplaning, Radio frequency and Non-surgical face lifting. I have further developed my skill set and trained in Advance Skin Aesthetics.
Having worked in the Beauty industry for 12yrs and becoming adept at recognising muscle imbalance and discourse in the body, my natural interest took the route towards Physiotherapy. In 2007 I completed the BSc Hons in Physiotherapy at the University of Teesside and shortly after I obtained my certification to practice Acupuncture. I have now been a qualified and practicing physiotherapist for 18 years, having spent 8 years working within the NHS and 7 year working in HMP prison service whilst building my private practice. I am registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Health Professionals Council and British Acupuncture Association.
In February 2013 I launched Ashbrooke Therapies and it has grown from strength to strength. My ethos has always been to have my clients at the heart of what I do and thus I have put extensive time and thought into the services I offer today. The emphasis being on offering a bespoke and personal service without compromise, meeting the health, aesthetic and spiritual needs of my valued clients.
Ashbrooke Therapies is unique in its brand, it has succeeded in blending the traditional health practice and Aesthetic & beauty clinic into a multi-faceted and contemporary environment where the real needs and concerns of the client can be addressed in one setting….always forward thinking, fresh and exciting!
